It's a lovely yarn shop and definitely the best one I found while travelling here from Italy. While most other shops sell hardly anything but acrylic yarns you get the good stuff here. It's not a huge store but they have a nice selection. Some of it I could also buy at home so I chose some of the Portuguese yarns. They sell sock yarn too, hard to come by in southern Europe. The staff is friendly but does not talk too much at first. Yarns can be ordered online and are shipped worldwide. And there is a book about Portuguese knitting that might be translated into English next year. I am looking forward to it.
Excellent service from afar. I purchased a ball of Rosarios4 CamWool a few years ago when visiting Portugal and loved it. When searching to buy more, I came across Retrosaria. They had a full range of colours so I purchased a few balls. My purchase arrived in Australia 18 days later! Wonderful service and responses to emails. Will definitely return to them and recommend.
If someone is looking for an eco-friendly threads that's the best shop which can choose. I met very helpful staff as I'm the begginer it really help me to make a right choice. I recommend!
Aesthetically really pretty. Realy different and pretty things to buy to make your knitting fun. It's located in a cool place.
Beautiful small place on the second floor of the building. Very nice selection of yarn, most of them produced in Portugal. And wonderful, helpful and welcoming stuff members. It was hard to decide what to buy.
Climb three stores to enter heaven of wool. Very nice selection, and a very helpful lady!
Lovely, responsible selection (the sleeve even promises you can go and visit the sheep the wool came from which tells me it is responsibly produced!) And great service also in English. Inspirational! Only downside is the climb of two flights of stairs that is complicated with a bad leg. Knitter or cratfter, best selection of proper wool to be found in Portugal this far \u003c3
